Two weeks ago today was when I think we created you. We’ve been wanting to find you and bring you into my belly for two whole months! (I’ve wished for it for much longer. ) On Thursday, December 1, I decided to take a test to see if I had any signs that I might be growing a little person inside. A few days earlier, it had come up a big fat negative. But on Thursday, I got a nice faint positive line. Success!
I remember walking around in the bathroom while the little test strip developed. When I saw no line at first, I thought, “why can’t we get pregnant?” But then, as a couple more minutes went by, I started to see a very faint line. A smile grew on my face and I just had to tell your dad. I gave him a call at work and told him, "I think we have two lines!" He was a little surprised but happy, I think.
Then I proceeded to take a few pictures of the test strips and asked Tia if she thought this meant I was going to have a baby. She said "definitely!"
Since that day, we have been very excited and can't wait to meet you.
